I take propecia pills, but I haven’t had a hair transplant. If you take a pill every day, you keep your hair and, for a good number of people, like myself, it has grown back. My hairline, which was somewhat receding, now appears normal. I believe that about 85% of people who use the pills find success.
Although there is a lot of online scaremongering about these pills, FDA tests indicate that they are completely safe for the great majority of users. However, I would advise consulting a physician just to be sure.
They’ve been a lifesaver, and I strongly recommend them! I’ve been on them for two years at the age of 24, and they haven’t caused me any issues during that period. If you have thin hair on top, it’s also said to work well with rogaine; it’s really worth checking out.

can you explain why in India?
I used to take Propecia, and I actually ended up with erectile dysfunction because of it. I haven’t touched it in three years, and things still aren’t back to 100%. I’d say it only works naturally about a third of the time without needing medication.
